Todd Hayes recently sponsored Matthew Cubitt who ran the Norwich Half Marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to Matthew’s heart.

Matthew completed the Great North Run 6 years ago and decided to dust down his running trainers again this year to support MCS.  Due to personal tragedy Matthew said  “Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity I will always try to support” and Todd Hayes were delighted to help him on his way to securing a considerable amount of money for what is without doubt a fantastic cause.

Remarkably Matthew managed to beat his previous best of 2 hours with a very respectable time of 1:49.02 , with less training than 6 years ago!

Well done Matthew!

Recruitment specialists Todd Hayes Ltd have always believed in supporting the local community and local businesses as well as building lasting relationships with them along the way. This month, the name Todd Hayes Ltd has gone beyond recruitment and into the ring as Aylsham Boxing Club boasts a new sponsorship deal, which has allowed the club to purchase new tracksuits.

Aylsham Boxing Club is close to Todd Hayes Ltd Managing Director Gavin’s heart having spent many years at the club himself during the 80’s and 90’s. This means he knows what the sponsorship will mean to them. Gavin Todd said of the sponsorship “my family has always had close links with the club so I’m glad that we are able to help”.

Todd Hayes Ltd believe in the importance of giving back and wanted to invest in a local club which appeals to people of all ages and is important to the local community. Aylsham boxing club gives young people a chance to train in a disciplined environment as well as the chance to be part of a very well established club that invests in its junior members and Todd Hayes Ltd couldn’t be happier to be a part of something so constructive.

Todd Hayes sponsored two Sisters who took on a 450km bike ride through the beautiful countryside of the Beijing region of China, to raise money for a women's charity. Kirsten and Luan Aggersberg embarked on some fierce training to make sure they were fit in time to take on the challenge which took place in April this year. The event was organised by charity Women for Women, chaired by Professor Robert Winston. The Charity provides funds for ground breaking medical research into causes and treatments of conditions that affect women and babies. Kirsten and Luan raised £6800 using a variety of imaginative fundraising ideas during 2010 and completed the amazing journey in just 5 days!
